Churches and Church-Related Institutions

Consistently, nearly half of yearly charitable giving in the United States is earmarked for religious organizations. Religion is a large and important part of the nonprofit sector and has given birth to many other nonprofit institutions, including many in the health, education, social service, and cultural realms.

In 1991, Goettler Associates launched a division specifically designed to provide fund-raising services to churches and religious-affiliated organizations.

To achieve success in today’s competitive fund-raising environment, churches and church-related organizations must adapt sound fund-raising strategy to their own unique situation. They must develop a sound case for support and demonstrate stewardship of their own resources before they can evoke support from donors.
